Do you live in your thoughts? Or your thoughts live inside you ?

Thinking the Right Things :

(Don’t overthink, Think the right thing)

Thoughts, who lives where? do you live in your thoughts? Or your thoughts live inside you? hmm, quite a question...

Running in your head all the time, more than most of the time, distracting you, letting you get done a few things, mostly eating up a lot of your time, The past the present and future stuffing all at once. Possibilities, mistakes, assumptions, hopes, wishes, memories, desires, people, emotions spreading their wings all at once and letting them fly all over the place makes me think how thoughts would think they make you think with a wink...  Phew Thoughts...

Do we choose our thoughts? Or they choose us?

Why it matters:

So as per the law of attraction, it is said that whatever you think brings it to your tongue, whatever comes out of your tongue reaches the universe and whatever reaches the universe comes back to you.

That’s the circle. Like any other task, it’s not easy to control the thoughts that run around in our heads, however, I think we can at least kinda create a diversion we can replace the thoughts that creates malice in our heads and eventually spoils our mood and takes away the charm from the day.

We could rather feed the mind with the thoughts that we actually wanna think. Like, let the usual thoughts run as they are running but we have a set of thing written or recorded and feed in that a bit forcefully.

How:

Now this could be done as an exercise this need not be done all day just a few minutes every single day, and you will see how the conscious and subconscious adapts it steadily with consistent feeding of those good thoughts, so when these good thoughts aligning with your actual preferences will leave you thinking the kinda things you wanna think which eventually helps you with the law of attraction bit also your charm mood and smile remains with you.

Types of thinkers:

Overthinkers: Overthinkers are the kind of thinkers that keep repeating the thoughts that trouble them without giving it a solution, repeatedly thinking the same and not making the thought productive is overthinking this may lead to whole lot of negativity, impossibilities, anxiety.

Lazy thinkers: Lazy thinkers can also be called as dead fish. They won’t think too much, in the hour of trouble they choose to ignore the problems, not willing to put in efforts towards the solution. Basically just wanting to let the tough time pass by. Which gives them no space of overthinking but also no real solution to the problem.

Deep thinkers: Deep thinkers are the ones who think in a productive manner, they have trained their minds to focus on the solution instead of trouble. Even in the situation of problems they do think about problems because problems are meant to steal your sleep, but they more focus their thought towards the solution they effortfully divert their thoughts trying to invest the same thought towards the solution instead of just the problem. Which helps them eventually figure a solution and steadily get out of the problematic situation.

It’s a process, with so many changes in past 2 decades in our society and lifestyles, overthinking and anxiety has become one of those common issues in many people, especially the youngsters, who carry an experience of both generations and can understand things, have gone through changes, and are still struggling to figure their ways towards the best life. Please understand YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Its most of us here in similar shoes with different stories. Wanting to share our and know your story...

What would help :

Choose your thought: Just like you shop and pick the best out of the pool of stuff available everywhere for everything, you have a pool of thoughts available in your head all running around you can’t afford to pick all at once it’s a stupid idea. So pick your thoughts consciously.

Exercise mind:  It’s a practice, the practice of picking the kind of thoughts you wanna think and focusing on them, feeding your mind every day with your choice of thoughts, write down and record them in your voice and gulp it every day, keep increasing the dose of this exercise if you need to, every single day.

Gratitude: Gratitude is to be practised generally with or without any problems in your life. Its really a mood booster, energizer to your positivity and a great kick start to your day, mindfully note down the little things you are grateful around you, again write it down or record it. Gulp it every day. This is gratitude exercise.

Communicate: Any living being left in a jar closed and shut will suffocate and die, the jar lid needs to be opened by someone, so the being inside can save itself. Likewise, all the thoughts in you are puzzled, you need to communicate all of it to somebody so that you are understood, known, helped wherever needed, or at least heard when you talk you also hear yourself. Your problems are not unique or unsolvable. It’s just one us. Hence communicate all that’s inside you.

Always be mindful about the law of attraction, in your Thoughts, Words & Actions (deeds), what you give is what you receive, even to yourself.

All the Best :)

your thoughts and words matters to the world. Share it.

  1. Our Thoughts really do affect the universe. It's a very malleable tool that can be a double-edged sword if not used carefully.
